Yoga for Children

Yoga for children is about having fun! As children learn sun salutations, they will also become snakes, trees, butterflies, and many other animals found in nature. The children will also learn about pranayama (breathing practices), chants, and final relaxation - the favorite of many students.

Yoga can help children:

  • improve flexibility and strength
  • develop healthy bodies
  • improve concentration and focus
  • develop and improve confidence
  • learn discipline for success in school and other activities

Kids will learn how to strengthen their bodies, minds, and their spirit in a non-competitive way. Children will learn body awareness, including the way to relax themselves in stressful situations. Planting the seed of yoga into a child at a young age can have many benefits.

Childrens classes run 45 minutes.
